Domaine De Fussiacus 2001 Saint Veran  is an inexpensive, well made White Burgundy with bright flavors of citrus zest, white flowers, and minerals.   No oak is used in the production of this wine, yet there is an unmistakable creaminess on the finish.   The lengthy, creamy, finish offers a balanced compliment to the tart notes on the front palate.   A very scrumptous wine with a modest price.   I thought this was a great example of how simple, yet how elegant and interesting White Burgundies can be.
Retail price $17.   Tasted September 12, 2003.   Two stars out of three for zest and richness .
