A tasty lager from an unusual place. Over a decade ago lagers were falling out of favor, but Modelo continued to be a very popular brand. Roasted flavors, hints of citrus, and lime zest, are balanced with a slightly nutty, but classically clean finish. A crowd pleaser for those get-togethers when you're the only beer-nerd in attendance. -BF $6.50 a six pack
