Jurtschitsch
Wohlmuth Summus
Jurtschitsch Gruener Veltlener 2001  was sharp, interesting, and refreshing.   It has that interesting mineral note weaving through the palate leaving its zesty, peppery mark.   It also had hints of orange rind, apple, and honeysuckle.
Retail price $14.   Tasted September 10, 2003.   A great change of pace earning two .

Jurtschitsch GruVe 2002 Gruener Veltliner  features artwork by Christian Ludwig and is said to be quite "Gru-Ve."   An interesting, refreshing white with flavors of peaches, bananas, flowers, and zesty minerals.   This wine would pair so well with a rich dish of lobster or crab.   The acidity makes it a great wine for drinking for refreshment or for pairing with rich, delicate foods.   Any gourmét should consider this wine as a substitute to pinot grigio or sauvignon blanc.
Retail price $10.   Tasted September 10, 2003.   An refreshing change of pace earning one .

Wohlmuth Summus 2001 Gewürtraminer  is a spicy, honey'ed, refreshing treat with dried herbs and a touch of grapefruit on the palate.   The dryness and acidity create a savory sensaton when the wine is in your mouth.   I have a fondness for dry gewürtraminer and I make no exception for this wine.   This would pair so well with Indian, curries, spicy Mexican, or sushi.   Treat yourseld to something different, you will not be dissapointed.
Retail price $12.   Tasted September 10, 2003.   Spicy and rich earning two .
