Dr. Bürklin-Wolf 2004 Old Vine Riesling, Pfalz Germany
This riesling is exceptional quality for the money. Exotic, mouth-filling, flavors of lime and lemon zest, apricots, and green apples. The flavors are bright and the acidity is refreshing. The intense flavors showcase the old vine grapes. Buy a bottle and pick up some spicy Thai or Vietnamese food for a perfect pair.
Tasted October 8, 2006

Bloom 2004 Riesling, Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, Germany
This is great riesling at at a modest price. Big floral aromas escape from the glass. Flavors of lime zest, apricots, and minerals are intense. This white has a touch of residual sugar and its acidity compliments the fruitiness. It lingers in the mouth with a touch of exotic spices. The Stelvin closure keeps this wine fresh. The perfect bottle to go with take out from Wild Ginger. Don't forget Bloom is donating a portion from each sale to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation during October and November.

Schmitt Söhne 2005 Relax Reisling
I drank this wine with salmon and tomatillos salsa.
This bottle of riesling is a great value for the money. The nose is floral with hints of honeysuckle. On the palate the wine explodes with flavors of tangerine, mango, and apricot. Good mouthwatering acidity for a QBA German riesling.
