Etude 2004 Pinot Noir, Carneros, California
This is a very concentrated pinot noir. Brooding flavors of cherry and cola penetrate the palate from beginning to end. It has a perfume sachet on the finish. The structure offers just enough tannins, acidity, and fruit.

Gary Farrell 2003 Russian River Chardonnay
Glorious! This chardonnay is a real treat! Farrell's chardonnays are usually a single vineyard bottling, but this particular one is a blend of several selected sites. Layered flavors of pineapple, caramel, marshmallow, and lime zest are complimented by a mouthwatering acidity. The finish is incredible, lingering on and on long after the wine has been consumed. -BF $32

Firestone 2005 Carranya Mesa Vineyard, Gewürztraminer, Santa Ynez, California
Lots of fragrant summer flowers on this nose of this wine. The palate is filled with orange blossoms, tangerine, and lemon zest. This white is exotic, soft, and perfume-like. A lovely wine for fowl and spicy-hot foods.

Five Rivers Winery 2003 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon
This red blend is loaded with blueberry flavors. It has fairly soft tannins and slight acidity. There is a dark chocolate flavor layered with the berry flavors. The use of oak offers a creamy mocha, vanilla flavor on the mid-palate. -BF $10
