Joel Gott 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, California
Last night was the first time I've tasted this wine.
Boy, this is an impressive cabernet sauvignon for the money.
It drinks like a $40 bottle for under $20.
Flavors of black cherry skins, spring rain, plum, and graphite.
Layered, interesting, attention-getting, buy two, you won't be disappointed.
-BF $16

Wine For Good 2004 Good Red, Paso Robles, California
This interesting blend is composed of
40% syrah, 24% merlot, 16% cabernet sauvignon, 14% zinfandel, and 5% viognier.
Blackberries, blueberries, toasted vanilla caramel,
with hints of cappuccino, this red blend is delicious.
The big fruit is prominent, but the soft tannins and
soft acidity give this spicy red some structure.
Good Wine? I say great wine. -BF -$15
Wine for Good is donating $1 for each bottle sold to the Children's Health Fund.
The Children’s Health Fund is committed to providing health care to
the nation’s most medically underserved children.

Guenoc 2004 Pinot Grigio, California
This pinot grigio is about 10% riesling, which adds a lush flavor that really picks up the palate.
Soft floral aromas lead to intense melon flavors on the palate.
The mid-palate and finish has a savory lemongrass note.
Impressive for the price

Honig 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, California
This wine can holds its own against many $100 a bottle cabernets at a fraction of the price.
It is extremely dense, with a soft sachet of dried lavender on the mid-palate.
The slight earthy note is integrated into the ripe black cherry flavors.
A great value for the money.
-BF $60
